Hello Kitty is well known all over the world, and certainly gets around. We've found great photos of Hello Kitty, like the Egyptian Kitty photo below that was  posted on the Flickr photo-sharing website, and we've even seen Hello Kitty performing live in Japan.

Hello Kitty Meets Pinku-chan the Rice Ball

The Japanese love cute little toys, especially anime and cartoon figures. And, they totally love good food. One of the almost daily, 'must/have' foods for a traditional Japanese is the rice ball. So, we weren't surprised at all when we ran across Hello Kitty with a large, Hello Kitty pink rice ball called Pinku-chan in the photo below.
