They aren't actually for sale - they are items in one of the arcade games that the Japanese call "UFO Catcher". To play you pay from 100 to 500 yen and get a number of tries to pickup the item using an overhead crane and drop it into the chute.

No, I'm not a collector of Hello Kitty items - I just like to take photos of them. If I bought all of them there wouldn't be any space left to turn around in our house.
